Kona to Hilo and back

Hawaii, the big island, is a very fascinating place; nice beaches of course, beautiful mountains, hill sides and valleys and the volcano areas, I drove from Kona to Hilo through the volcano area and in fact got close to the volcano plus visited the lava-filled area; in Hilo, the water front is the area that was devastated by tsunami decades ago and today stands in remembrance with a neighboring museum showing and telling the whole story; back to Kona through the coastal road, a magical drive
